2002 Mercury 125 ELPTO problem

I have a 2002 Mercury 125 ELPTO and I'm getting an alarm, which is part of the ignition switch, any ideas what this might be?. I don't think it's a oil injection problem as I drove back to the dock, not smart I know, but had no choice. The Boat is a Key west Oasis and the switch is a Quicksilver.
