2002 Mercury 125hp when running I noticed the gauges jumping around, then the tach and voltage gauge went dead. I stopped and tried to restart nothing happened. I wiggled the key, the throttle, etc and the boat started and ran fine. The gauges were fine then a few minutes later the gauges acted up. I stopped shut her off and again nothing. Again played with the key, throttle, some wires and she restarted. I have since cleaned all battery connections etc. seemed to fix the problem then bam did it again last night. Any ideas, could this be from a faulty ignition switch?
