Not trying to be a smart arse, I've done this too.

Check your key fob, is the little black tab under the emergency cut off switch and holding it up. It's the red button looking thing on your dash or control

Minimum cranking speed of 300 RPM.

Low battery, dirty connections on EITHER end, starter dirty or dragging. Any of these and the motor won't spin quick enough for the stator to generate sufficient voltage to operate the ignition.

Check ALL of the above, then if still no spark, disconnect the kill wire from the ignition module (Black wire W/yellow trace line). Re-test, if still no go, then DVA Test stator.

Direct Volt/Amps, a Volt/Ohm's Meter with a specific resistor and capacitor in-line, it puts a measured load on the charging system while charging the cap, the cap stabilizes the meter reading so you can read a steady voltage rather than a blip.

Available as a DVA meter or a DVA Adaptor for a standard Volt/Ohm's Meter.

It is a very necessary tool for troubleshooting outboard ignitions.

You may get lucky yet, unplug the kill wire from the ignition module and retest for spark first, see if the problem is the kill circuit on the boat OR slow cranking speed, BOTH are very common problems.

NEVER assume any electrical parts is bad and start spending money without PROVING the parts bad with DVA tests. There is NO RETURN on electrical parts, and they can get $$$$.

Your ignition on a V-6 is actually TWO ignitions in one, Two ignition modules and the stator has TWO sides, one for each module. A total loss of spark is generally NOT a stator, module or trigger, but a short in the KILL circuit OR slow cranking speed.

I think your mercury kill switch is dead. In the manual there is a test for this. What you can do is disconnect it and make sure all the black and yellow wire is disconnedted also. Happend to me very frustrating. I think it is located above your switch box on the same side as your starter.
