2002 Mercury 60 Bigfoot EFI

I inherited a 2002 Sylvan Expedition 1600 with the Mercury 60 Bigfoot EFI.

From the two years I've ran it, it's been awsome. Great fuel mileage, very quite, starts instantly every time, great acceleration. The boat is also great with plenty of storage, and 2 livewells.

I'm looking to learn all I can about this engine. There are a few wire plugs running off and I'd like to know what they are. I assume at least some of these are for the SmartCraft system the 40 and up EFI engines run.

Does anyone have any diagrams, or wire schematics for these engines?

Are there any other forums specific to my Mercury engine or Sylvan boat I could check out?

What about any tech articles?

I'll take anything I can get

If you are as interested in this engine as you seem to be you would be well advised to go to Mercury Parts Express (you need the engine serial number) and purchase a factory service manual for the engine. Yes -- they are a bit spendy but it has everything you need to know about the engine including how to repair it.
