2002 optimax 200 problem

So my buddie has a 2002 optimax that we are trying to figure out what is wrong with it and need some input. when we took it out today it seemed to be idling high but when you put it in gear the idle goes back where it needs to be ( about 750) throttle cable is good and throttle body is clean .then when we give it full throttle it seems to be missing or lacking fuel. It will get up on plane and go but doesent have the power it should. compression is good, plugs looked good,fuel filter is pretty new,its got fresh gas,all the basics are up to par but i cannot figure out what might be the problem. I was wondering if maby the fuel pump is bad or somthing along those lines. if the boat is sitting at idle and you rev it up it seems fine but when you put a load on its not running right. any tips or advice on what to look for would be greatly appriciated. thanks

It needs to go to a good service shop that is qualified to work on Opti's. You need to do a scan and test procedure with the DDT, Digital Diagnostic Tester. In addition your fuel and air pressures need to be checked which takes special gages. They are definitely not user friendly engines.
