Okay you knowledgeable mechanics out there. Does swapping the vacuum line from the intake silencer (connects to bottom of silencer) to the VST cause any malfunctioning of the engine. There is one vacuum line that goes from an intake port to the silencer. Another goes to the VST. Think I did this and had something real funny happen. Running around 3000 rpm and had to pull the throttle to neutral all of a sudden. The engine sputtered and then had a raised idle speed with the throttle level at idle/neutral. Like I had the throttle partially open but it was in neutral.
Seem to remember that there is a hole drilled in one of the butterfly valves of the throttle body. Maybe in swapping these this causes engine to operate weird under fast deceleration.
Any suggestions.
