2002 Starcraft Islander 221 - Anchor chock

Hello,

Newbie here - I need to stow the anchor up top on the bow - does anyone know what the cuddly cabin roof is constructed of? If I drill 10 holes what is the appropriate method to seal and back for anchor chock?

Rather than drilling holes through the front deck, how about mounting an anchor bracket on the bowrail? Like one of these;

Thanks for the reply - I saw that style - will have measure length of 8 lb danforth/fluke vs. height of bow rail - don't see how end of shank attaches?
