Trying to pull the powerhead. I have removed the bolts to the exhaust housing the nut on the back and the two nuts on the front as well as disconnected the shifter linkage. Powerhead seems pretty stuck. Does the lower unit need to be removed first? Anyone know how many bolts there should be holding the powerhead to the exhaust pan? Its a 225HO 2002 Evinrude. I think I got everything but before I start prying or really leaning on it I figured I would ask. If you have any tips that would be great as well.

Just the one holding the shifter linkage. I got it. I didn't remove the bolts that go through the mid section. Stupid Seloc didn't mention that. All good. So I guess for archive search purposes.
Remove the 6 Bolts through the exhaust pan on each side two nuts one on each side at the front one nut on the back above the exhaust outlet, the shifter rod linkage bolt and the 6 long bolts that go up through the mid section.
