Ok...so my brother has a 115 suzuki 4stroke that he has had since new. This offseason he had to replace a frozen steering cable. Being the bull in the china shop that he is, he pulled the old cable out and did not realize the tech who installed the motor back in 02 had taped the wire harness to the steering...needless to say he pulled loose the connections under the dash. I went over and was able to figure out what goes where. Seemed fine...but now, when we start the motor, it runs for about 30 seconds, and then shuts down. Inspection reveals the 35a main fuse is blown. Replace, everything works fine...tilt it, turn it over, whatever...but once it runs...burns the fuse within 30 seconds.
Any ideas on what would cause this...
WOULD ANYONE HAVE A FULL WIRING SCHEMATIC FOR THIS MOTOR?
