Yesterday moring I was hauling through LB harbour and my engine buzzer started going off. I looked back at my engine and it was smoking (white smoke from the exhaust up near the cowling on the rear) really bad, I then shut it down. I assumed it was over heating because when I tilted it up, there was a friking plastic bag wrapped around the intake area. I took the cover off and let it cool for about 5-10min then started it up again. It smoked at the beginning and then stopped, seemed to run ok after that; I was getting the same speed at the same RPM's

Does anyone know what damage could have be done by this? Also, was the smoke from the exhaust just Steam from overheating or other Smoke?
