2003 115 EFI quits just off idle

Good morning all, This is a bugger! We have changed out injectors, TPS, running on our portable fuel tank and it refuses to run over an idle. The instant you come off idle it starts bucking and dies, no codes so we are going into the vapor separator next to check for debris. I was told the boat was used once a year by the grandfather and when he passed it went to his son and his kids want to use it, it is as brand new as you can get, the father said he took the primer bulb apart (?) and cleaned out the junk, doesn't looked touched to me but. 38-42 lbs on the rail but it sits and misses at idle, spray fuel in and it picks right up so I'm thinking the VS is the place to go. Any thoughts much appreciated and thank you in advance!

I would start with the fuel lines you said he cleaned the junk out of the bulb those lines are lined with a plastic lining and fail causing them to collapse and if left long enough break apart and I'm guessing that was the debris he was talking about get ready for a fuel nightmare I had the same problem with my 115 and had to change everything part of the fuel system from the injectors back start with the fuel lines if it is the lining then change it 1st or all the work you do will be for nothing cause the lining will just cause the new part to fail
