2003 4 stroke yammy loosing rpm

I have a 2003 yamaha 115 horse 4 stroke. I took it out yesterday and it is loosing rmp. it should run at 5000 rpm and it went down to 4500 and then by the time I got back it was down to 3900 rpm. Any ideas on what could be the problem. Yes it is fuel injected.

clogged fuel filters? <br />BTW I'm sure max rpm on that motor should be closer to 6000.

what ivar says. and remember there is a filter in the vapor seperator as well as filters in each injector. thats why a 10 micron filter is reccomended in the hull.

so I have to take the fuel rail off and the filters are in there? I have emptied the filter the has the water separator in it. So that leaves me with 4 more to check.
