~2003 JL Audio stereo remote compatibility

Has anyone encountered a head unit compatible with the wired remotes from the ~2003 era from JL Audio Marine? Boat has one at the helm and one at the transom.

My head unit is dying and I'm looking for a simple/affordable solution to replacement. If I put something else (company or even JL Audio) in, I'd have to remove the wired remotes and possibly have to make new holes in the fiberglass. Nothing on JL's website looks similar. ugh....

Hard wired remotes are dinosaurs. Most Bluetooth units give you the capability to use your phone as the remote.

I added a Bluetooth adapter to my aging JBL unit to allow me to stream music from Spotify and use the app as a full featured remote.
