Hi all, new to the forums, looks awesome though with lots of great info for a new(used) boat owner such as myself!!
So a few months ago I purchased a used 2003 Larson 190 LXI the 90th anniversary version. What a fantastic boat I must say first off, it has the 4.3 merc cruiser with a ton of power for wakeboarding tubing and all that. Even with a full load of people it pulls people up quick quick.
Anyway to my main point. I am of course having some small things that need repairs as I would expect a 10 year old boat to have. The main things I am in need of is some dashboard parts. Specifically the fake wood looking plastic cutouts that go around the ignition switch and the blower switch. Also one of the accessory switches broke that turns on the nave lights. This I am pretty sure I can fix but that may be helpful as well.
I have been searching even for boat salvage yards(like car wreckers or something like that) and not even having success with that. Any direction you can point me in or even tell me it is futile and maybe have to get a real wood one or a metal piece special cut is the answer. Also I am in British Columbia Canada if that makes a difference or if there are specific places around here people know of.
Thanks again all! Happy boating summer is upon us!!!
