2003 mer elpo 2 stroke has sa lean bogg off idle ?

Hello.I have a 2003 90 hp 3cyl merc outboard.I was wondering if there was a procedure for adjusting the carbs.heres what I have .I had to drain the fuel tank and rebuild the carbs due to some water intrusion in the fuel system.the boat sat last year.I have taken it out 3 times the 1st time out after cleaning the carbs and changing the plus was rough the boat would not idle and would bogg I ran about 3 gallons thru the engine the 2nd time out the boat stated and ran ok I was troling at 2-3 miles mpf when after about 4-5 min the engine seemed to richen up then die.or possibly lean.when trolling if I accel it bogged then would eigher hesitate or bogg then take off blow blue smoke and take off.the thing is if i hit the choke it would help the engine??\
today when I took it out it ran good never dies when trolling slightly off idle but when taking off i would have to hit the choke button or it would bogg.any ideas.

It sounds like the carbs still aren't clean. There is a screw on the top side of each carb on the linkage side, turning it CC makes it richer, CW makes it leaner.

My 90 would do that and it ended up being the fuel pump needed rebuilt. The kit is cheap and it's easy to do. Couldn't hurt anything.
