I was using my dads boat this morning and put it in the water and pump was not pumping water. I believe its water pump only thing I think it would be. My question is can anyone tell me how to change it out. I have not worked on any outboards. Just need a little direction on doing it. model number is 1050412cn

thanks for the help

What is your engine s/n?

If you send me a PM with an email address, I will send you the service manual.

What makes you think that the pump is not pumping. Could be that the tell tale is blocked. Try clearing it by probing with a piece off small gauge soft flexible tubing whilst the engine is running.
