We just got a 2003 Rinker 342 Fiesta Vee. Love the boat! But...

we trailered it from Chicago IL to Sioux City IA and when we got it home the floor in the cabin was wet. There were never prior troubles like this. Checked windows to see if there were leaks since it did rain on us during our trip home but nothing. It looks as if it came up from somewhere. Got the carpet dried out and tried to find where it's coming from. We moved the boat again in our driveway so we could start cleaning it and went inside the next day and found 1 inch of water standing in the cabin floor. Still no idea where it's coming from. Cleaned it, relocated it again and while backing down the driveway with it the bilge kicked in and emptied a bunch of water. Started our cleaning and the next day the floor was soaked again.

How do you get to the forward bilge, or where is it located at? My husband has taken things apart trying to find out where this could be coming from but nothing. It seems like there has got to be water below somewhere that isn't getting pumped out since there have been no signs of leaking windows and such. He's pretty handy when it comes to this stuff but he can't figure out what's with all the water.

Any ideas would be great! Thanks!

Not to take anything away from this great board but you will get more detailed information on www.rinkerboatowners.com under the cruisers subforum.

Good luck.
