2003 Vp.3.0 gl water fuel separator filter questions.

How much time or hours is a safe time to replace this filter? Is it a good idea to empty water out of this filter in between replacing with a new one? Thank you.

Ayuh,.... Welcome Aboard,..... I change it when there's a suspected runability issue, or once a year, whichever occurs 1st,....

Never, Ever, dump it out, 'n put it back on, as that allows crap from the dirty side, to get into the clean side,....

Though, if ya got a runability issue, dump it into a clear vessel, to look for water, 'n crap,..... but toss the filter after,....

100 hours or once a year

if you have a lot of water in the tank, suggest pulling the tank sender and siphoning the water out
