Well I decided I want to have a temp gauge after all. My question is is there an extra wire I can use for the sender for ex. there looks like a gray going to nowhere. I know it's said look for a tan but my tan looks kind of peach so I am not sure and also when I looked under the dash it appears to be going to one of the digital multi gauges. Also have a blue/wht and a wht/red that appear to be going nowhere. I just need a wire from motor to dash can anyone suggest one to save me all that going back and forth. Thanks Guys

I used an orange that was coming from the multi gauges but was going nowhere. I hooked it all up and ran the motor and the needle went up to what looked like 120 or so and stayed there as if the thermostats opened. All seems right to me. Mike

the gray wire is for the over temp visual in the factory tach/speedo.
if your system does not have the tach with the indicator or the speedo with the indicator it can be used for the temp send wire.
the orange wire from the motor to the multifunction guages is normally the 5V reference for the trim send, not used on two wire trim senders but is still in the trim harness and may be used, the black is a ground and the pink is trim send.
