2003 yamaha 150

Good Day ; I am looking at a 2003 yamaha 150 hp/ pl150tlrp . Can any body give me some info on these motors . Are they any good ? are they injectid or carb . all cyln 120 lbs do not have hrs ? Thanks Pete

How is fuel mileage? is it oil injected ?

Yes, it is oil injected. At least it was when it left the factory. Some unknowing fools have been known to deactivate the oil injection system and go to premix.

Mileage is a function of many variables. The biggest being the size of the boat. Most outboard powered boats have terrible fuel mileage. By automobile standards anyway

A P150TLRP is a 1991 model year motor by the way.

The Motor is posted as a 2003 It is black and grey . Decals on side say pro v 150

A seller can say whatever he wants to say about a motor. All I am saying is that when a P150TLRP left Yamaha it was designated as a 1991 model year motor.

Last P150 was offered by Yamaha in 1999.

What else might the seller be saying incorrectly?
