2003 Yamaha 90hp TLRB coil test?

My motor has week spark. I'd like to test the coils before replacing the cdi. My manual tells me the coil resistance without the wires but my wires appear to be molded into the coil. I do not want to wreck the coil by pulling the wires out. Does anyone know how to test the coil without removing the wires? 2003 Yamaha 90hp TLRB.

I would test peak voltages into and out of the CDI with the proper test equipment.
follow the ignition system testing in service manual step by step.
bad voltages into CDI will give bad out
good in but bad out could be CDI or the coils/ wiring
test loaded and unloaded as the manual should call for(hooked to coils and unhooked)
