I have a 2004 Fish Hawk that came with 4 pedestal seats. When I bought the boat in 2005, the dealer went on and on about the upholstery and how it was done by Harley Davidson. Initially it looked very nice, but over the past 6 months the glue has lost it's bond and the matierial is pulling away from the molded plastic.

Is anyone else having this problem? Anyone else get the spiel about Harley producing the seats?

I attached a couple of pictures.

My 96 in my signature is still in fine shape. I had heard that the company that makes John Deere seats were making the new ones for Crestliner. Use some adhesive to glue them back down. Try contact cement following the directions on the can. Be careful of other epoxies as they may hurt the plastic base or the material itself.

So I went to the local Crestliner Dealer today. They didn't know of a systemic problem with the upholstrey, but promised to check into it and get back with me. Does anyone have any experience with communicating with Crestliner directly?

Crestliner stands behind their products. Call them though as I never received responses when using email.

I have a 06 1850 DC and from your pictures, I determined we have similiar seats. I haven't noticed any problems with mine. Good luck and I agree with the others - Crestliner will likely stand behind their product. Good Luck

I have the same problem with the driver's seat on an '05 Fish Hawk 1750.
The dealer has tried contacting Crestliner but hasn't gotten an answer about how to "reglue" the cushion. Crestliner has changed suppliers on the seats since '05.
I'm still looking for the best way to glue the cushion down.

I would contact Crestliner directly instead of going through the dealer.

Crestliner advised the dealer that the seats are manufactured by Milsco (Milwaukee Saddle Company).

Milsco advised that the correct epoxy for regluing is 3M DP8005.
