Hey guys, I'm new to this forum and looking for help. I have a 2004 GS 201. The problem I have is, I get power to the main switch on the helm but nothing beyond that. I have new batteries and the motor has power and the bilge works with the float switch, beyond that nothing, not even the horn will blow. This problem has been going on for a while and I have not done much investigating. I just thought if someone had some advise it would give me a place to start. Just to throw out a little more info. out there the last time I got in the boat everything came on and worked fine for about a minute then back to nothing. I am thinking ground problem now. Any help that anyone can give would be greatly appreciated!!!!!!!

5Oclock,

I have a 2006 GS211 and am having similar problems. My freshwater pump, bilge, livewell aerater, fuel gauge, and tilt gauge all act very similar to what you describe. There must be some sort of general electrical malfunction. It appears that the electrical system of these boats is a PROBLEM. I'll let you know if I find out anything. Please do the same.

I found two relays behind the switch panel on the helm and replaced them, everything came back and works fine now!!!!!! The relays are (87a) 5 pole and I think they are used for a headlight relay in cars, but they are easy to find an the enternet. Good luck with it!!

I also recently bought a 2004 Hurricane. I am having problems with the livewell pumps. I have tested the pumps and they work fine my problem seems to be power at the switch? I think... Any Ideas?
