I am storing my 2004 hpdi 225 in a heated storage building. Is there anything that I need to do to make sure I do not have a problem in the spring. I have used regular carbed motors in the past, and used stability in the gas, ran motor till it quit, then I fogged the cylinders, drained lower unit, new lube in.

Drain the VST (Vapor Separator Tank). If you are in your boat, looking down at the motor with the cowling off, on the bottom-right side there is a metal tank (after the fuel/water separator) with a single screw. You can take that screw out and drain the VST. When you change out the filter on the motor always drain the VST as well. Do not turn the key on because the pump will turn on and fill the VST
