Was told NOT to fog engine through intake as could damage sensors???? What is the right way to prepair engine for storage?? Thanks

In a remote fuel tank, mix 1 gallon of gas, either fogging oil or outboard oil at 50-1 ratio, the proper amount of fuel stabilizer for 1 gallon of gas. Fill up the new fuel filters with the mixture and hook up the tank and run the engine for a while. Pour the remainder of the mixture in the fuel tank.
