Solid motor, should provide years of trouble free fun(with proper TLC of course).

just curious Matt, what is cost to upgrade to 4<br />stroke?

about 2 grand. 20% increase on the rig is more than my dad will take. with the very limited use this boat will receive, it's probably not worth it for him. he's happy with reliable old 2-stroke technology.

I have a 50 2 stroke, burn maybe 50 gallons a year, use three times, a very good engine, little rough till she warms up, brother has a 40hp, and it has run very good for 5 years with heavy use.
