2004 Starcraft Pontoon, 40HP engine,25ft, $6000 is it a good deal??

Hey guys, I would like to ask your opinion in this...
A co-worker is selling his 25ft, 2004 Starcraft Pontoon, 40HP engine $6000.
It seens like a fair deal. I forgot to ask if it is a 2 strokes or 4 stroke engine...
I saw photos and looks very clean.
I am worried about regretting having such a small engine and regret the purchase later.
I have 3 boys, the oldest is 15. I wonder what kind of toys I could pull with it.
Coworker never polled anything...

You can pull anything you want with it...............as long as you don't mind pulling it at around 10 mph at WOT. Sorry, feeling kind of frisky. That's a big barge with a small motor. Fine for cruising, but it will be very slow. Some people are fine with that, but if you want to pull your boys around on toys they'll be bored with it immediately. Can't really comment on the price without knowing condition and seeing pics, but I can tell you it will be slow.
