2004 Tracker ProGuide V16 Kicker?

I just bout a 2004 ProGuide V16 with a 50HP Merc on it. I want to add a 9.9hp kicker motor and would like to know what length shaft I would need. Would a 20" shaft be long enough?

I just purchased a 2012 V175 with a 9.9 kicker. The kicker is a 20" shaft and works fine mounted directly to the transom next to the 90hp optimax. I am sure a20" shaft would be more than long enough for you. You may even be able to get away with a normal length. If you want I will measure the transom where my kicker is mounted and you can compare to yours and see if it will fit.
