i have a 05 115hp 4 stroke merc ob..on the back of the engine where the tell tale comes out there is a fitting to screw on a garden hose..when i picked up the boat the guy who did the prep said i could hook the hose up there and flush the motor in stead of using muffs..i've never used it and always used the muffs with the engine running..just curious if anyone flushes out there motor this other way...curious if it gets every where..even thought the motors not running..the t stat wont open...thanks..i dont think it even mentions this in the manual
