A friend .. of a friend experienced a " VRO" failure while on a fishing tip in the back wilderness of Northern Quebec.
The only way they keep the engine running was by pumping the tank fuel bulb.
He proceeded to order a "new VRO" at $800 + to be safe but the question remains ..
what servicing could be done to restore the old one to top shape. I know little about those VRO other than the fact they mix fuel and oil.....
Can he buy a kit or something to fix it up ?
thanks
