I have two of these motors on a houseboat. They stay in the water all the time..I have discovered that the exhaust housing is fiberglass,,and the finish is corroding on them. One housing even has a hole in it below the water line. Doesn't seem to affect operation at all. Any experience with something like this..Can that be refinished? I would have thought they were cast aluminum but they appear to be fiberglass. Any advice would be helpful
