2005 75hp 4 stroke lower unit install

Man am I having a time. Went to Canada hit a reef at 30 mph torn the skag all up. Removed the lower unit no problem, put it in forward before removing. Got the lower unit back but for the life of me can't put it back on. Am I missing something here? moved flywheel around just cant' ge the darn thing to line up. Any suggestions?

Was the driveshaft checked for bends?

No. There was no damage to the prop. Just a big chunk out of the skag. Giving it another try tomorrow.
