Put away running great. Stabilized the fuel and filled it right up. This year, it starts right up and runs fine. Once in gear it runs right up to 2400 rpm and but then starts to bog. If I rev it, it will jump around up to about 3100 rpm but then it dies right out till it comes back doen to 2400 rpm.

Almost seems like a factory installed warning or something?

Checked oil- good. Drained all fuel and put in new premium. Same thing. Cant figure this one out as this motor has always been great waking up in spring. Id sure appreciate any thing to try before we're off to the dealer.

Re: 2005 F60 4 Stroke starts and runs but then struggles

Thanks for the response- appreciate it.

Because of the way the stall seems so programmed (very routine, same rpm all the time, seems like an electronic cut out or something....) Ive been looking for something electrical.

I found two plugs that are unattached under the cowling at the bottom front, facing the driver. They are male and female identical and the plugs have four pins in about a 1 inch square. They also both come from the same direction in the wiring loom...... I obviously did not put them together to see what would happen, but does anyone know what those plugs are for? Supposed to be unattached? Only thing I could thing is they might be for wiring to a console- mine is a tiller. Or I pulled the plugs apart? As I said, id like to try to rule out the silly stuff before I go full diagnostics.

Thanks again.
