2005 Four Winns Funship- 21ft

I am looking at purchasing the above boat and am planning to go see it this evening. The guy told me it has a 4.3 Volvo in it but I cant find a funship of this size that has that engine. Most have the Volvo 5.0. Is he making a mistake as he says the boat will do 50mph.

2005 Funship 214 did not come with 4.3 and 5.0 as a basic model However, Funship 194 came with 4.3... Funship 194 has LOA of 21feet and Funship 214 has LOA of 23 feet. So if a seller says it is 21' funship it is likely Funship 194 and not 214. Either way Funship will not reach 50MPH mark...
More like 45 to 48MPH is a realistic numbers. Fun ship is a big boat for the size so I would get a Fuel injected 5.0 (not carb) engine. Walk away if it is 194 and 4.3. my 2C

I've owned a 2002 Funship 214 since 2007. It has a V-P 5.0 GXib engine and Duoprop outdrive. I've never seen 50mph (using GPS). I've seen above 40, but I really don't run the hell out of my boats anyway. It will do in the mid-30s easily and well. Good enough for me.
