Is it possible they are coming out with a 15 hp two stroke that is direct injected and very epa friendly like the bigger two strokes. My local dealer said that something new is in the works for next year but he has no idea what it might be.
Visited the local dealer today asked what was new on the 15 hp for 2005 and he said all he knew was that it will be the exact model as the 2004 except it will sell for more. He had no idea what they meant when they said new on the web page. I guess we will have to wait and see.
I asked a sales person at the Toronto boat show in the spring of 2004 what the "new" was on the 9.9 two stroke. He said they did some changes to the carburetion so they eliminated some issues when the engine was in shallow water drive position, probably the same would hold true for the 15 since its nearly the same engine
