HI... Back again... 2005 Sea Ray 240 Sundeck...Bravo 3. 350 MAG. I've replaced the entire trim pump assembly last year along with the triple switch at my throttle. Trim has worked WONDERFULLY since then.
Yesterday, I trimmed up to take the boat to the marina because of other issues in my other thread. When the "mechanic" tried to trim the drive down, he called and told me it didn't work - but I just trimmed it up hours prior.

Could the bumpy trailer ride there done something?
Here's what I've done to trouble shoot. Remember, new trim pump motor assembly and new switch at throttle.
- When I jump the GREEN/white and BLUE/white, motor works and trims up and down.
- I located 2 black wiring coming from transom and jumped them.... nothing at the throttle switch.
NOW WHAT? Anything else I can do to narrow this down? I'm fairly certain this isn't a throttle switch issue as it's new and all 3 options (up/down/trailer) aren't controlling anything at this point. Somewhere between the 2 blue/1 purple and the sitch, but how can I narrow this down?

many thx !

I have had that happen on mine -- but its older than yours-- Yours may differ

I’m jumping from the main red 12v supply to the blue and green ... works both ways. My wiring is tie wrapped (zip tied) and wasn’t touched. It just stopped working out of the blue. It makes zero sense ! I’m just wondering if there’s anything else to test between throttle and black wires from transom.

More specifically. I’m jumping right at the pump- solenoid works fine there.

then you need to check the fuse at the trim pump. thats the main power for the trim button that works the solenoid

Check the 20A again and check for 12v on the side that goes to the buss bar, if no 12v there check the 110A at the main buss bar connection,

With light meter in getting a good reading at 20a and 110. When I pull 20 fuse, I get power on the one side only. So, that’s all good !

At the Red plug that has 3 pins check the end on the trim pump 1 of those pins must have 12v , the other 2 (horiz ones) I think are the solenoid ones

My trim pump has the flat 2 red/purple with 20a - all checks out
then the red/blue/green flat —— I’m getting 12v on the red pin

I see, a newer style but wired the same red power blue to up , green to down and the fuse, the other end of that fuse should go to the pin in my post 17

The red is actually the “right eye” if you look at it as a happy face ... and I’m getting 12v there !
