2005 Sea Ray 4.3L

I have a Sea Ray with a 4.3L. Went to start boat and there was no alarm that came on and it normally does before start up. I just did an oil change, started engine and it ran great. All fluid levels are topped off and at reccomended levels. IO checked the alarm with a meter and there was no power going to it. I then tested the alarm speaker by pulling it off and hooking it directly to 12v and it came on. Any ideas on why it is not coming on?

Power to the alarm should come from the ignition terminal of the ignition switch (purple wire).

Seems I am having a grounding issue because I can jump the ground and it will work.
