Welcome, please read the stickies at the top of the page and get us as much info as possible.
Especially motor size/hp, present wot rpm and speed. gear ratio usually on the leg.
A 26 is a lot of prop. Get us that info and we should be able to help you out.

Have you looked at the Four by 4 by Signature Propellers? iBoats sells them. I'd bet the 24" pitch Four by 4 would be the best... If the 24 doesn't work, they'd swap it out for a 22..... as he said in the previous post, 26 is a lot of prop..

Agree with Steelspike on the pitch and other suggestions. Only Searay that I remember was a very deep V hull which are really nice in rough water, but hard to get on plane, unlike a flat transom area hull (semi-V) which ride much rougher, but are easily planed off (out of the hole). Assuming it to be the popular I/O puts all that weight at the transom and additionally people just love to sit on the engine cover and transom jump seats.......all add up to a no-no in trying to get up.

3 quickies come to mind: Reducing pitch for faster hole, but will eat into your top end and you will need to watch your rpms to stay in the safe operating area for your engine; porting the prop which could help....it has for me on an outboard...don't know about how they work on I/O's; and last, get some trim tabs. Iboats sells both the fixed and the variable which work wonders on tail heavy loads. If I were going to go that route, I'd do it right, bite the bullet and buy the ones that you could adjust for the occasion with operator supervision.

If you like your current top end and your WOT rpm's are good there, I'd personally go with trim tabs.
