2005 Suzuki 4 Stroke

I have a 50Hp Suzuki outboard. It is having problems starting. It will crank over and act like it wants to turn over and run... sometimes it even does for a second, but to only die and no longer run. Like it is starving for fuel or something.... LMK if anyone has any clue as to how you go about troubleshooting this type of problem or if anyone has had a similar problem with this motor. Thanks in advance

It almost certainly is starving for fuel, thing.

Do not touch it until you have a factory Service Manual. Then go to troubleshooting the fuel supply system. I would put the high pressure fuel pump and the vapor seperator high on the list of suspects.
