I just purchased a 2005 suzuki DF15 from a guy who claims it only has 50hrs on it. We ran the motor on the boat shortly yesterday and it ran great. I ran it for about 20 minutes today and I had it wide open for a few minutes and it revved down and then shut off. It was peeing the whole time and the red light was off. It wouldn't start. I let it sit for about ten minutes and then it started and ran for about 5 seconds before shutting off again. I then paddled back to the ramp and here I am. I did notice that the engine block was really hot, and the water coming out while it ran was warmer than on my other engines. We also had a really bad heavy rain storm yesterday that could have gotten some water in the gas, does this sound like bad gas? Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks, Tyler
