This has been an issue for over a year.
stumped two mechanics (not sure if they were honest or that skilled) and my own troubleshooting
its starts,idles and runs great. But when you open it up it just won’t get up and go or maybe it might act like its going to but without fail begins to slow down almost immediately.
really Seems like it’s just not getting the fuel it needs.
here’s the list of tinkering that’s been done;
plugs
replaced low pressure fuel filter
Am able to blow air thru high pressure fuel filter
tested high pressure pump inside vapor separator
most recently a mechanic said a code came up for the idle air control needing to get recalibrated.
that also didn’t help.
ive pulled the injectors and did a less than precise bench test and they do open and allow fuel to pass but not at all sure if it’s to spec.
I’m considering buying an injector and cycle it through to see if one is bad.
