Well here we have the age old problem about the 06 leaking oil from the front, possibly timing, cover. I have the engine out and can see the oil is all over the front of the oil pan and possibly coming from the timing cover but I cant see for certain a visible source of the leak. Mercruiser wants $230 for a timing cover "kit" but I think I'm going to take some advise from here and buy straight GM replacement parts from AutoZone or something. What more should I replace since I am really not to sure about where this leak is originating. The process of elimination tells me: timing cover, harmonic balancer seal, oil pan gasket, and what ever more may be in this area. Please provide some expertise and past findings...
