Fun Times, question the carb listed on the eBay listing looks to be the carb I have installed. Mercury website calls for part number - 866141A02. This one has what looks to be a hose connection on the back side which mike does not have. I am not sure if the one I have is a orriginal carb or not.

Did the seller send you more photos of the carb kit linked above? As I only see the box it comes in.

He lists it as a V6 and the box shows/says V6 so in theory it should work/be the same. I see one is sold now but at one point he did seem to have one for a small block V8 and I believe a 3.0l 4 cylinder along with the V6 carb.

As you know you'd need the V6 carb. The V6 carb did not utilize the PCV hose going to the valve cover like the 5.0 & 5.7l engines did. So be sure to get the V6 carb.
