I have been having issues with a boat motor I have recently purchased. For about a year the motor ran fine, however, in the past few weeks a few issues have occurred. To begin, the motor was running for about 4 hours just fine. After stopping for about an hour to fish, the motor started back up and began puttering. The puttering resulted in the motor shutting down. The motor started right back and did the same thing about 5 more times that same day. When home, I have replaced the main fuel line and bulb, VST pump, took apart and cleaned all injectors and fuel rail. It has good fuel pressure and now will run continously regardless of slow or high speeds. The problem is now the motor will not idle. It shuts off as soon as I go to idle but will crank right back up. Does anyone have any advice or delt with the same problem? Thanks!
