Hello,

My boat hadn't been started in a few weeks. We went out Saturday, and it started but stalled a few times before dying a few hundred yards from the dock. Did some preliminary testing in the water and found the motor to have no spark. Does anybody know if this engine has a history of one part or another causing this problem? I use the boat offshore, so I wouldn't mind replacing any parts that might be suspect (CDI, coils, etc.) or anything that would be best to replace on a ten year old motor. I replaced the plugs 10 operating hours or so ago. Any help will be appreciated. Thanks!

The motor is a 3 cylinder model # 1050412FD

On your question, the right person (Faztbullet for one) either hasn't seen it or for the rest of us, just don't know the history of that particular model. If you get no immediate answer just answer your own thread with the word "Bump" and that will bump it back to the top where it can be seen more easily for a longer period of time.
