Hello! I am considering the 2007 1436 lite rivited jon to replace my 1982 gheenoe highsider. I run a 15 hp 2 stroke johnson on the gheenoe, and loaded down with me on it I get about 20 mph. loaded down as in i am #220, 3 gal tank, trolling motor, battery, front wood deck on the front. What speed will I get with the same motor on the 1436 lite? Perhaps the same or a little more? How are these boats? Stability? I do fish saltwater, so do they hold up? This model looks more stable than the gheenoe. I do need something bigger. Oh! and can they be painted. i am not feeling the olive green color!!! Thanks for your help!! Seems like a great site!
