We uncover our boat was was getting ready it ready to take out the weekend before Memorial Day. We put the ear muffs on to make sure the motor would fire up and we tried it in idle up to full throttle in reverse and forward and everything ran fine. We took it out Memorial Day weekend backed it off the trailer with the throttle enough to get it off idled out to the no wake zone and once we tried to throttled it to go it would die. We were not able to get the motor to do anything past idle without it dying. Anyone have any ideas as to what could have caused this?
