Re: 2009 Dodge Challenger

I'm having a real hard time deciding which car I want to get. I'm waiting to see exactly what both the PRODUCTION Challanger and Camaro look like first, then buy the midrange version and toss a Vortech on it. :D

Re: 2009 Dodge Challenger

I was looking at the 2007 SuperBee with the same setup 58,000 bones CAN.,also with the wrench free zone, estimated service cost to keep on warrenty 6,000 bones or more for regular service from dealer ONLY!!!!!The right to fix is large with CRYCO,DODGE you just can't do it and have a warrenty,I'm hoping GM is more slack on the right to fix,BIG BIG issue on the new cars coming out your at the mercy of the dealers

Re: 2009 Dodge Challenger

This whole thing pisses me off. Why can't they make a Camaro or Mustang and price it like an economy car. When GM and Ford made these thing back in the 60's they were not high priced machines.

I keep an eye out for a good buy on a low milage V8 Camaro or Mustang (like the boat I just bought ) so these new "concept" machines just raise my boiling point because the price is just too high and they become "collector" machines.

So screw them.

I don't have 40 large to spend on a fun macine....

So what gives?

I agree with you Mark- cars are increasingly being priced out of the average person's market, and collectors seem to be the only ones that can afford them. Or the average Joe that wants to finance it forever with credit. But isn't that what America is right now? Get it now, pay later. Or not pay later, perhaps go bankrupt. I love both those cars, but I won't be able to afford them. At least not for many years.

Does it really **** you off that you can't have every thing you want? It just motivates me to work harder when I want something.

Besides, how cool would a camaro be if it was an economy car that everyone could afford?
