Last weekend I dropped my boat in the water, it started right up, and I just put it in my slip so it only ran for 30 sec probably. Today I tried to start the boat and it will not turn over. The starter is turning fine, it just will not turn over. It fired for a split second twice. I charged the batteries up good and made sure the safety switch was set right. What could it be?
One thing that happened was a bird built a nest in the one week it was uncovered right on the fuel pump wires leading to the fuel pump so they are covered with mud. Should I clean up the wires and see if that fixes it?
