2009 sweetwater 2186 DF

i am considering purchasing a 2009 godfrey sweetwater 2186 DF. it has a 60 h.p outboard (max. power is 115 h.p.). dry weight is 1500, wet weight is 2150, passenger max. is 9. is the 60 h.p. sufficient to pull an adult on a tube, with two or three passengers?

You can pull an adult, but it won't be a real exciting ride. Pulling a tube creates alot of drag and the 60 will not move it along very fast. But it all depends on your definition of "Sufficient"..

We hane the same boat, only it's a 2006 with the 60hp Yamaha, it's to slow to enjoy the tube ride, we tried and it's not much fun.
